Clinical Assistants

I have worked with Kelvin since 1993. I really enjoy my role and like to think we make a great team. Most of our patients have been with us along time and it's great to see them when they come in. I have just had my second child, Zak. One patient knitted some gorgeous clothes for him. Patients are so kind. I love to talk football. Kelvin supports Liverpool and I support the better side (Everton) so we often have banter, but all in good fun.

I came to the practice in 2003, I was an orthodontic assistant previously and was qualified in that field. One of my responsibilities was taking x-rays so I also have a certification in radiology. I'm Jason's Dental Nurse. Being his Clinical assistant isfascinating, as he does a lot of cosmetic dentistry and facial rejuvenation. It's great to see patients who have come in after years of neglect and going out a new person. Your smile is so important. I love being part of making a difference.

Dewi and I joined the practice at the same time in 2004. I was already qualified having worked in dentistry for several years previously. A lot of our patients have been new to the Practice and it has been great to see them coming back every six months and really taking care of their smile. Dewi is an excellent Dentist and I love working with him. He takes a real pride in the work he does and is a true perfectionist.
I have an interest in educating our patients and their children in how to look after their teeth, so I went to college to get my certificate in Oral Health Education. Showing kids how to look after their teeth early really makes a difference. I have just had my first son and I will do my best to make sure he doesn't need fillings. It is possible!

I'm the newest recruit, I joined the practice in 2006 and work with Bill. I qualified several years before and had experience in other practices, but I feel really at home here.
Bill does a lot of cosmetic work and Invisalign. Not long ago I had my metal braces taken off after wearing them for three years. I wanted a perfect smile; I just wish we had been doing Invisalign back then. My treatment wouldn't have taken half the time and I wouldn't have had to wear train tracks, as the aligners are almost invisible. I would have known the result and how I was going to look before I started treatment, the technology is so precise. I would have even known the finish date! The results are really amazing with invisalign. My ambition is to become a hygienist. I enjoy the prevention side of dentistry, and nothing feels better than a clean healthy smile.
