Invisalign consists of a series of nearly invisible, removable and comfortable aligners that you change every two weeks for the next set of aligners. Each aligner is individually manufactured for your teeth, and your teeth only. As you replace each aligner, your teeth will move little by little, week by week, until they have straightened to the final position.
What's more, a virtual 3D treatment plan shows the series of movements your teeth will go through over the course of the treatment. This allows you to see upfront what your teeth are expected to look like at the end of the treatment. From the results your custom-made, clear aligners are produced especially for you.
Because your aligner is nearly invisible almost no-one can tell you are wearing Invisalign. You can remove your appliance, so you can eat and drink what you like, and studies have shown that it can be better for your dental hygiene during treatment as well. With no metal or sharp edges, your aligner is comfortable to wear and does not cause allergies.
During treatment you will visit periodically, until it is determined that your treatment is complete. Then all that remains is to show off your beautiful new smile!
